This intriguing "Antiquity Unearthed" Paperweight by Pauline Stankard Iacovino of Stankard Studio is approximately 3" in diameter. It has a two gray pâte de verre* human heads that look like they were carved from stone. There are also olive green vines with dark green leaves and light blue blossoms. The paperweight has a tan, dark brown and white sandy background. The entire work is encased in high quality clear crystal. This is Pauline Stankard Iacovino's first design in the Stankard Studio edition. Once she completes this series, it will no longer be available. The paperweight is marked "Pauline Stankard Iacovino Stankard Studio 2006" on the side. It also has two black and white signature canes on the underside ("PSI" and "Stankard Studio" canes).
