This beautiful limited edition "Brocade Butterfly Paperweight" by Caithness is approximately 2 3/4" in diameter. It has a black butterfly with a yellow and black striped body surrounded by an inner row of inner row has yellow, white and black small star canes. It also has an outer row of light sea green, white and black star canes. The entire design is encased in clear crystal. There is a top window, ten side windows and a diamond cut bottom.
The paperweight is marked "Brocade Butterfly Caithness Glass 45/250." It also has what appears to be a small "I" cane below the butterfly (probably the artist's signature cane). It is in mint condition (no marks, scratches, etc.). Satisfaction guaranteed. IAG8015 - $200.00 - SOLD. |
